About Us

Art Explosion Africa is a platform created to support artistic expressions of Artists from Africa. It addresses normal creations by artists from different cultures and backgrounds influenced by present day events that are meant to communicate, evoke our emotions and take us to different imaginary dimensions. Art Explosion also take us on the other side of Artists which are out of their comfort zones and explore their untamed, unfiltered artistic art creations. We explore the unsuppressed fearless approach of creating art through intuition, self-discovery without fear of judgement and comparison. This is where we also take an opportunity to walk this journey with them as they narrate their stories through different forms of art.

Still in the echoes of the pandemic and the unprecedented challenge to arts funding it has brought, we are convinced that Arts will be the catalyst to the recovery as well as healing to our communities. Now, more than ever, with grabs, we will be working hand in hand with artists to make Africa the future headquarters of contemporary art.

The platform is designed for forward-thinking contemporary visual artists, both upcoming and established, who seek to actively participate in the comprehensive economic and cultural strength of their time.

The platform also aims to promote upcoming artists as they endeavour to grow and succeed in their careers by showcasing their work. As we focus on the art it’s also imperative to acknowledge and realize that a lot of artists are multitalented and are not just limited to producing Art. The art explosion concept is of multifaceted artists and we wish to unveil the other talents, promote diversity & impact people from all walks of life.

Knowing that the process of making art is not easy, an artist and creator needs all the help and support he/she can get to make his/her vision come true.

Let’s enjoy this beautiful African artistry together and appreciate the creative minds, souls and visions through the eyes of the artist in ART.
